Sending the wrong signal

There are ways to make remote messaging by defense and intelligence agencies much more secure

I’m not following why President Trump’s intelligence team keeps denying that classified government information was shared through the Signal app, why they don’t talk about ways they are working on to improve secure networks or why the media up until now doesn’t report that there has been research and measures already taken to allow for the use of something like Signal in addition to layers of government-controlled security. This technology is in development now, and perhaps needs to be made better.
